Warden House Primary School became a Primary Academy in 2013 and has been judged by OFSTED as an outstanding school. We joined Veritas Multi Academy Trust in September 2015. The school has a deep heritage as a primary school offering the highest quality of education for children in Deal. As a Primary Academy, Warden House has a curriculum that targets excellence not just in English and mathematics but in all subjects.
Our inspiring school environment includes extensive grounds, dedicated music room, expansive library, breakfast and after-school club, on-site nursery, two football pitches, woodland area, environmental pond and a range of play equipment to keep our children active and engaged. Such resources enable our children to become confident and well-rounded individuals with a deep capacity for learning. Lessons are engaging and follow a rigorous curriculum with regular intervals of assessment to ensure our children are embedding their learning. As a result, our children make strong progress across the curriculum.
Our aim is to make learning irresistible; we want all children to develop a thirst for learning and push themselves to be the best that they can be.
Our values underpin all aspects of school life. Children are taught to be positive in their learning; to understand the importance of being good partners; to be independent in their learning and be determined when always striving for their best. Children are taught to be responsible members of the school community and then society and ultimately successful in their studies.
I am proud to be the headteacher of such an amazing school, one where children work in partnership with talented and dedicated staff to promote a culture of positivity, respect and responsibility.

Executive Headteacher's Welcome
I am the executive headteacher of Warden House Primary School. I joined Warden House as headteacher in 2009 and after being headteacher of two primary schools and am now the executive headteacher of both Warden House and Pilgrim's Way Primary Schools and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Veritas Multi Academy Trust (MAT). While Mr Hackett is in charge of the daily running of the school, my role as executive headteacher is to support Mr Hackett.
As CEO of Veritas MAT, I have the privilege of bringing together a family of schools that can support and learn from one another. I am also delighted that Warden House is a National Support School. This means Warden House staff regularly support across a range of schools in the local area. Support through staff visits to watch our teachers and teaching assistants teach. Support through mentoring of teachers across schools. Support in leading training and research events for schools. I am so proud that Warden House, its staff and pupils are a shining light of support in our network of schools.
