Warden House Primary School became a Primary Academy in 2013 and has been judged by OFSTED as an outstanding school. We joined Veritas Multi Academy Trust in September 2015. The school has a deep heritage as a primary school offering the highest quality of education for children in Deal. As a Primary Academy, Warden House has a curriculum that targets excellence not just in English and mathematics but in all subjects.
Here is a video presentation and a range of information to support you in the process of applying for a secondary school place for your child for September 2022. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Kids who READ FOR PLEASURE do better in every way than kids who don't. So whatever else you do, never stop sharing books with kids. Never stop reading to them, and helping them to read. Never stop giving them ways to understand the world, and everyone in it. #literacy
Thank you sooo much to those kind enough to pre-order my new book Irresistible Learning - embedding a culture of research in schools. Tomorrow is the launch day. I would love to hear your thoughts on it (any favourable reviews also welcome on Amazon #cheekyrequest). https://t.co/uuK38NSuWN

***Please Retweet*** Our PTFA are getting really close to hitting their fundraising target of £1000 following on from our Rainbow Day last month. It would be amazing if we could hit our target by the end of Term 5 next week? Can you help? https://t.co/O4RkTPL5Pb
From today, our one-way system will no longer be in operation. If entering via Birdwood Avenue, please follow the new signs to go directly to your child's class. Parents and children can still enter and exit via London Road as normal. We hope that this will ease congestion as much as is possible in a school our size. Thank you for your support with this change. Please see our latest newsletter for further information.
Teaching children to stay safe online is a vital part of our role as a school. To help support our parents, we will be sending out termly online safety newsletters to help keep everyone up to speed with the latest guidelines and risks to children. It has been great to welcome the children back to school today and to see them settle so well into their new classes and routines. All seemed to have a super day! Thanks to all of our parents and carers for helping make the new drop off and pick up arrangements work so smoothly.
