For Term 6 every year group will be taking part in the whole school project 'Performance Poetry Slam.'

Each year group will be provided the same two activities each week with different types of poems from different poets shared throughout the term. Hopefully, this will enable the children to find a love of different forms of poetry and inspire them to create and perform their own poems.

 

All year groups have the same end aim: for each child to produce a performance poem, either on their own or as a group inspired by the poems they have studied.
