Why Warden House

Warden House Primary School is fortunate to be set in extensive grounds.  The school has a range of learning spaces including a dedicated music room, library, after school building, an on site nursery, two football pitches, woodland area, environmental pond and a range of play equipment to keep our children active and engaged.

Our children make good progress as they move through the school because of the excellent teaching they receive.  Classes are well equipped with interactive whiteboards in every class.  Each class has at least one Teaching Assistant supporting the learning, as a result children receive a high level of guidance and challenge in their learning.

We believe our children and school community flourishes by encouraging our children to be positive, independent, determined, successful, responsible and to value the partnership with parents, our community and as a citizen of the world.  These words are represented in our Vision Wheel shown here.

We also recognise the importance of extra curricular learning and host a varied program of after school activities.  Clubs include netball, football, Speed-Stacking, Lego, golf, gymnastics, multi-sports, science, French, art and cricket.  We also host a range of music tutors who use our dedicated music rooms to tutor children in saxophone, clarinet, trumpet , guitar and drums.

Warden House also believes in involving you in the journey your child takes with special opportunities across the year to spend time in school with your child.  You will be invited to join us for class assembly, Olympic days, fathers week activities, mothers week activities grandparent week activities, productions and you will be welcome at a range of events organised by our Parent Teacher and Friends Association as well as our weekly coffee mornings for parents held in our After School Club.
