Headteacher's Welcome

Warden House Primary School became a Primary Academy in 2013 and has been judged by OFSTED as an outstanding school.  We joined Veritas Multi Academy Trust in September 2015. The school has a deep heritage as a primary school offering the highest quality of education for children in Deal.  As a Primary Academy, Warden House has a curriculum that targets excellence not just in English and mathematics but in all subjects.

Our inspiring school environment includes extensive grounds, dedicated music room, expansive library, breakfast and after-school club, on-site nursery, two football pitches, woodland area, environmental pond and a range of play equipment to keep our children active and engaged. Such resources enable our children to become confident and well-rounded individuals with a deep capacity for learning.  Lessons are engaging and follow a rigorous curriculum with regular intervals of assessment to ensure our children are embedding their learning. As a result, our children make strong progress across the curriculum.

Our aim is to make learning irresistible; we want all children to develop a thirst for learning and push themselves to be the best that they can be.

Our values underpin all aspects of school life. Children are taught to be positive in their learning; to understand the importance of being good partners; to be independent in their learning and be determined when always striving for their best. Children are taught to be responsible members of the school community and then society and ultimately successful in their studies.

I am proud to be the headteacher of such an amazing school, one where children work in partnership with talented and dedicated staff to promote a culture of positivity, respect and responsibility.

CEO's Welcome

I am delighted to be able to introduce myself as the Chief Executive Officer of Veritas Multi Academy Trust. Appointed to the role in September 2022, I am committed to ensuring that Warden House continues to thrive and is enabled to deliver the highest quality of education for the children, making learning irresistible for all.

Veritas MAT works in a collaborative partnership with schools with an uncompromising focus on quality education, strong academic standards, high expectations and aspirations for all our pupils.

The MAT has three core values underpinning our work:

Innovative - Through strong collaboration across the Trust, our academies and staff uphold an innovative approach to staff development through embedding research informed practice. Through a positive and dynamic approach to research based pedagogy, staff across the Trust continuously reflect on their practice to create an environment where innovation leads to irresistible learning for all.

Inclusive - With a firm belief that as a Trust we are stronger together; we create an inclusive environment across our academies where staff and pupils feel emotionally and physically safe. Our academies are outward facing and create an environment where differences in gender, culture, disability and educational needs are embraced and celebrated; leading to irresistible learning for all.

Inspirational - Through inspirational leadership, teaching and learning; our academies create a climate where children, staff and parents strive to achieve and aspire for greatness. With strong collaborations we share practice and challenge one another using the principles of mentor-coaching to celebrate success and support improvement. High standards across a rich and diverse curriculum delivered in each academy leads to irresistible learning for all that is individual to each academy but reflects the shared ethos of the Trust.
